Twelve landlords in Oben Community, along Sapele Road, Benin City, have raised an outcry following the demolition of their perimeter fences and nearby buildings.
Mr. Peters Omokaro, spokesperson for the affected landlords, alleges that Mr. Nosakhare Ighodaro, another landlord in the area, claims ownership of the land and has taken legal action.
Despite the ongoing court case, Mr. Ighodaro reportedly demolished their fences, citing a court judgment in his favor.
